Established in the fall of 2007, VidaComEsperanca.Org (Life with Hope) is focused on the support of early child development in impoverished regions of Pituacu, Salvador, Brazil. This work is carried out by a team, in Salvador, led by Leticia Ribeiro that consists of volunteer physicians, nurses, social workers and teachers. An administrative, website hosting and fund raising team working in Linden, New Jersey, is dedicated to supporting Leticia’s efforts.
Importantly, we have a wider network of concerned and generous individuals across the globe - YOU ! - who visit, share and contribute to our website and intervention efforts. We are a global team !

Here is some background on our administrative team.
Pictured here, in front of the gates of Princeton Theological Seminary, are (from right to left) Dr. Raimundo Barreto, Leticia Ribeiro, Dr. John Fossella and Nathaniel Fossella. Dr. Barreto lives in Salvador, Brazil and is the Pastor of Igreja Batista Esperanca. Dr. Fossella lives in Linden, New Jersey and is an Assistant Professor at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Drs. Barreto and Fossella both received their doctorate degrees from Princeton University (Theology*04 and Molecular Biology*99, respectively) and are presently working to obtain 501(c)3 status for VidaComEsperanca.Org in order to increase support and awareness for the team of volunteers working in Salvador. The 2nd picture shows Nathaniel Fossella (smiling in the lower left corner), Greg Horn, Drs. Baretto & Fossella and Leticia Ribeiro. Greg Horn is the Pastor of The First Presbyterian Church of Cranford, NJ, USA and is the original founder of a partnership between Cranford First Presbyterian and Igreja Batista Esperanca, from which this international awareness and relief project was born.
